CILKISKIN started with a simple frustration - skincare that smelled beautiful but didn't deliver, or worked brilliantly but felt clinical. We refused to accept that trade-off. Every formula began with the same question: what would the most luxurious, effective oil in the world look like?
The Beginning
It started, as most obsessions do, quietly. Years of trying product after product, serums that promised everything and delivered little, oils that sat heavy on the skin, formulas that worked but felt more like medicine than ritual. The beauty industry had drawn a line: you could have performance, or you could have pleasure. But never both.
That line never sat right with me so I started researching. Obsessively. I read formulation studies at midnight. I spent months in conversations with perfumers and cosmetic chemists who shared my refusal to compromise. Every ingredient had to earn its place, not just for what it did on paper, but for how it felt on skin, how it layered and how it lingered.
The Philosophy
At CILKISKIN, we believe skincare should be an act of care, not correction. Our formulas don't rely on aggressive actives that strip and shock.
